Who is responsible

ATHAR, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. ATHAR is run by Marcos Lopez. For anything about your data, write to [email protected].

What is collected

• What you send me. The details you enter in the contact form, and what you write to me on WhatsApp or by email.
• Questions to the chat assistant. Questions typed into the "Ask ATHAR" chat assistant on this site are processed by an AI model hosted on Cloudflare to generate the answer.
• Technical logs. Basic technical logs are kept by the hosting provider, Cloudflare.

Please do not type sensitive personal information into the chat assistant.

What it is used for

• Replying to your message.
• Preparing audits and quotes.
• Delivering the work you have asked for.

What is not done

Your data is not sold. It is not used to build advertising profiles.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses only what is needed to run. If analytics are added, this page will be updated to say which tool is used and what it records.

Third parties that process data

• Cloudflare: hosting of the site and of the AI model behind the chat assistant.
• WhatsApp, owned by Meta: only when you choose to message me there.
• The email provider: when you write to me by email or ask for a reply by email.

Each of these providers handles data under its own privacy policy.

How long data is kept

Your data is kept for as long as it is needed to answer you and to keep business records. After that it is deleted.

Your rights

You can ask for access to the data I hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Send the request by email to [email protected]. The framework for these rights is the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version is published on this page with a new date at the top.
